It is very simple, it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to get the signal that you are not hungry anymore (Your system needs to digest, produce hormones, etc.). If you eat fast you will always overeat, why? because you are still hungry even if you ate too much. Eating slowly is a good healthy habit to acquire not a miracle cure for obesity but you could lose weight slowly or at least prevent gaining more weight simply by eating slowly.

Lose weight by eating on a HotSmart

Yes, Texas is teaching the Chinese how to make InstaHot 30 min plus plates; the ones that you "zap" for just one minute in the microwave oven and reSitemain hot for 30 minutes to keep your enchiladas hot on the plate. I am full of El Paso Pride.

Experiment proves that eating slowly= eating less

Experiment: 30 women
Eating quickly 646 calories consumed
Eating slowly 579 calories consumed
646/579= 1.11 (11% more calories consumed when eating quickly); read details in link below:

It is kind of funny, in real life If I eat quickly I usually ask for "a little bit more" and I am served 50 t0 70 % more food and at my mother's house I was served 80 to 100% more and guess what? once the food was on the plate it disappeared.

We are simply not trained to eat slowly or to leave food on the plate.

Now you can eat slowly and lose weight, your food will not get cold why is that? Very simple: if you eat slowly you will get satisfied with less food and if you drink enough water with your food you will also get that sensation of fullness that will keep you from overeating.
